November 3rd at 7:30pm - "Art, Money and Fiction", a conversation with Tad Crawford at Tompkins Corners Cultural Center about legal/business issues facing artists and writers. Tickets are $10
November 5th from 2pm to 4pm - Opening reception of "Seeking the Light", an exhibit of recent watercolor paintings by Hudson Valley painter Karen Lemke at the Tompkins Corners Cultural Center. The exhibit runs through Dec. 14th
November 5th from 3pm to 4:15pm - "The Borscht Belt: Memories and Artifacts" at the Putnam Valley Library. To register, click here
November 7th - Election Day! Polls are open from 6am until 9pm
November 15th at 6pm - Monthly Town Board meeting. Agenda includes a public hearing on proposed amendments to the mooring code and a continuation of the public hearing (and possible board vote) on regulating short-term rentals
November 18th at 7:30pm - Concert by Down Hill Strugglers, an old-time string band at Tompkins Corners Cultural Center, tickets are $20
November 28th between 4:30pm and 6:30pm - Gingerbread house workshops at the Putnam Valley Library. The library will provide the structure and graham crackers, you bring icing and decorations. The event is for ages 4 and up; those 18 or older must be accompanied by a minor. Registration required
