Elon Musk Comes to Putnam Valley

Elections in Putnam Valley have typically revolved around pressing local issues like how much salt will cost this winter, how long it takes to get bridges repaired, zoning applications for controversial real estate proposals and other hot topics pertaining to our immediate surroundings. This year is a little different. Some homeowners have begun finding literature hanging on their doors paid for by TheAmerica PAC.org, a political action committee funded by Elon Musk.

The hanging door cards include slogans like "Don't Let the Socialists Win" and "Your vote stops the radical left." Another version supports the campaign of Congressman Mike Lawler.

Voters seeking an alternative to national political messaging can attend the Meet the Candidates Forum on Monday, October 19th at 7pm at the Lake Peekskill Civic Center. Questions must be submitted in advance using this form. The doors open at 6:30pm.
